Honored Martyr's Story
Israel had an ongoing bombing campaign in Gaza in response to protests against the seizure of Palestinians’ property in the Al-Sheik Jarrah neighborhood. Mostly civilians were killed. On this night of heavy bombing, Layali, her husband Iyad and their 16 year old daughter Lina were killed. Their 2 year old daughter Meena at first survived, but eventually also died due to her injuries.
