Honored Martyr's Story
When Rayhaneh arrived home late just before 11 pm, her father struck her with an iron bar. He let her bleed to death, then took her body to a nearby village and dumped her. In the morning, her mother and sister found Rayhaneh’s clothes bloody and saw a trail of blood leading to her father’s car. They reported him to the police and he confessed expressing remorse for killing his own daughter. Her sisters stated that their father had a history of rage and had tried to kill Rayhaneh another time in 2017 but they prevented it.
