Honored Martyr's Story
She was walking toward a protest with her friends and classmates when they were confronted by police and paramilitary. The girls were being beaten by swinging batons when Kiana was grabbed. The men focused primarily on her and beat her viciously. They took her away. Much later, Kiana’s body was dropped off at her home. Her family was unaware that Kiana was dead. When they uncovered her body, her eyes were sewn shut and her organs had been stolen out of her body. Her family was threatened by the killers and forced to report that she fell into a well.
