Honored Martyr's Story
In the afternoon on a Monday, Al-Atarib outdoor market was full of shoppers. At 3:12 pm, Russian planes, in an offensive to “de-escalate” the activity of rebels, dropped at least 6 missiles in and around the market, killing 65 people. Haj Merie and his daughter were at the market at the time of the strike, killing them both.
