Honored Martyr's Story

Hind and her uncle, aunt and cousins packed quickly, leaving their home by car as Israeli forces were coming near, but the car fell under gunfire. Only her 15 year old cousin Layan survived with her. They called the Red Crescent for help in what became a viral audio for them begging for help as Israeli tanks came near them. An ambulance rushed paramedics to help, but came under gunfire as well, loosing contact with dispatch. Other ambulances and aid were sent, but all came under fire. When the Israeli troops finally evacuated the area, the body of Hind and Layan were found by her relatives. The blown out ambulance attempting to rescue them was also found nearby.
