Honored Martyr's Story
Sedigh’s body was found 2 weeks after she went missing. She was found dismembered and strewn in the desert. Sedigh was one of three women who disappeared, and the only body of two that was identified. At the same time, women in the Fars region were getting text messages threatening them with death if they left the house. The public believed these text messages were the result of propaganda being spread that the women protesting for rights were not Islamic.
