Honored Martyr's Story
Hajar was one of many children killed by bombs in airstrikes by Israel. This was from an ongoing campaign to seize land and power. After Hajar’s death, her reputation was killed in the Israeli media by erroneously reporting that she was killed as a result of her “own circumstances and people.” The government attempted to blame a failed missile by rebels in Gaza for the death of many civilians, including children. Hajar was killed before the rebels in Gaza responded to the Israeli airstrikes.
