Honored Martyr's Story
When the cost of nationalized fuel drastically hiked in Iran, many people took to the streets to protest. Fed up with previous conditions of human rights on top of an increased gap between the privileged and the struggling, Iranians went out daily in many cities. Some of the most volatile protests took place in Karaj, where police were especially deadly with their force. Mahnaz was shot three times. It is believed that the shot to her head was the deadly strike.
