Honored Martyr's Story
After years of war and sanctions on Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Air Forces (IAF) began Operation Protective Edge. They struck 5,000 times within 28 days directly killing at least 2,220 Palestinians including 551 children and 299 women. Shortly after 8:00 pm on day two of the attacks, IAF bombed Yasmin’s family home located next to property they were farming. Yasmin was one of 127 children under the age of 5 killed in this IDF series of raids. The family lost their home, income and their precious daughter.
