Honored Martyr's Story
In a major offensive against Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula by US Navy Seals in the al-Ghayil village of the Yakla region, it is believed that up to 59 civilians were killed. Fatim was shot in the back as she fled shelling and gunfire with her children. All of her children were killed except for 18 month old son Mohammad. United States Navy Seals were assisted by Emerati special operatives. Witness survivors said that the soldiers were deposited after air-raids and shot at people indiscriminately as they fled their homes
