Honored Martyr's Story
Tuqa’s house was falsely identified and targeted by US drone surveillance as an ISIS combatant site and car bomb factory. The Razzo home, as well as the home of their brother, was destroyed in this raid killing Tuqa and her mother Mayada. The home of her uncle Mohannad next door, also targeted by the airstrike, killed him and Tuqa’s cousin Najib. Tuqa’s father Basim survived and struggled for nearly two years to have the US State Department acknowledge that the strikes on his and his brother’s homes were strikes on civilians.
