Honored Martyr's Story
During the protests, those who were injured by government or paramilitary could not go to the hospital because there they would face police who would detain them. Aida was a doctor who was clandestinely helping protestors who sustained injuries from bullets or beatings. Her dead body was handed over to her family. She had a smashed face, her eye was removed and her arm was broken. Her body showed evidence of being hit by a hard object. State officials said she was in a car accident.
