Honored Martyr's Story
A drone strike targeted a car that drove into a family home compound just outside of Kabul. The targeted car was a Toyota Corolla belonging to Zemari Ahmadi, who worked for many years for a US aid organization. Mr. Ahmadi was driving his colleagues to and from work, just arriving home with rations of water. The household children were all excited that he had arrived home, so they came out to greet him when they were all struck. In all, 10 people were killed by this mistaken ISIS target drone attack including Ahmadi’s 3 year old niece Malika.
