Honored Martyr's Story
US military defense claimed they were targeting an ISIS vehicle and household. The target ended up being the family compound home of the Ahmadis. The car, a Toyota Corolla, belonged to 40 year old engineer Zemari Ahmadi, who worked for a US aid agency. The strike killed 10 members of this family including 7 children and 3 youth. Ayat was the youngest daughter of Zemari’s younger brother, Rumal, and the youngest child killed.
