Honored Martyr's Story
Layan along with her parents, siblings and 6 year old cousin Hind fled their home as Israeli offensive military approached near. While traveling by car, their car fell under attack by Israeli military. Layan called the Red Crescent for help. She and Rajab begged to be saved while hiding frightened near her dead family. As ambulances tried to approach and bring aid, they were fired at by the Israeli troops. Layan and Rajab tried to survive, but their cries were met with aggression. Their bodies were found when the Israeli soldiers finally evacuated by their family, two weeks later.
