Honored Martyr's Story
As large numbers of fleeing refugees were being killed in transit in the Mediterannean, a group of 19 Iraqi refugees were found in the Strandzaha Mountains near Malko Tarnovo. They were forced to take the mountain route out of Turkey since all of the flat borders were blocked by barbed wire. Fifteen of the refugees were treated for hypothermia, and two of the refugees were in a coma. This girl was found dead of hypothermia with her mother.
