Honored Martyr's Story
An overcrowded boat carrying between 500 to 700 people seeking refuge capsized just off the Libyan coast. Two hundred people fell off and over thirty people died, mostly women and children. There is no information about why the boat capsized: if there was a strong wave, or if people from one side ran to another for safety from gunshots by coast guards. This unidentified little girl, believed to have been Somali, was among the dead.
